Wretched Refuse was a music band. In 1997, three Sunnydale High School students discussed the band's lead guitarist, and one of them asked Alexander Harris for his opinion, as he had previously heard the band perform.[1]
In the 1970s, Rupert Giles was a member of a band with a similar name, Wretched.[2]
