Withdrawal is the forty-first issue of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Classic" series. It was written by Tom Fassbender and Jim Pascoe and illustrated by Paul Lee.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Buffy's finally back in the game, fully recovered from her recent trip to heaven. But someone else is back, too – the sexy vamp D.J., Velatti. She's out for revenge, and she's noticed that Willow's powerful addiction to magic is growing out of control. [1]

- Buffy and Spike have a sexual encounter, that they had began in episode "Smashed" and would eventually end in "As You Were."
- Buffy has her short haircut ("Gone").
- Velatti returns after being temporally defeated in "Creatures of Habit."
- Anya considers the place for her wedding ceremony, her third option being the actual place she would eventually book, the Bison Lodge ("Hell's Bells").
- Tara isn't living in Revello Drive anymore ("Tabula Rasa").
