History[]
Riley Finn was a regular costumer of the den.[2] One night, Spike followed him and discovered this secret, leading Buffy Summers to witness him being bitten by an unidentified vampire.[1]
The following day, she and the Scooby Gang discovered the place abandoned, so she burned the place. In retaliation, the vampires attempted to corner her for destroying their business, but the Slayer was able to stake the seven of them.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
- Unidentified in the series, the place was referred in the shooting scripts as "abandoned tenement"[3] then "vampire drug den". It was described: "Spike leads Buffy up some back stairs and into the first floor of a seedy flophouse that looks like a cross between a crack house and a low-rent whorehouse. The walls are covered in graffiti, the floors littered with debris and mattresses... It's dark, but we can see that the place is inhabited by a sordid bunch of lowlife humans and vampires."[4]
