Wendell Sears was a Sunnydale High student.
Biography
Wendell loved spiders, but felt like they hated him. He claimed to have the best collection of spiders in the world, including tarantulas and black widows. While he was away at wilderness camp, his brother left their heat lamp on for a week. When Wendell returned from camp, he found his spiders were all dead. After that, he started having a recurring nightmare of opening a book in class and seeing spiders crawl out of it.
