Career[]
Murphy rose to fame in 1976 with the hit instrumental "A Fifth of Beethoven," a disco adaptation of passages from the first movement of Ludwig van Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
Murphy was the score composer of the episodes in the first season of Buffy, before being replaced by Christophe Beck.
