Vrill was an Old One allied with Boluz, also an Old One. The pair sought to unleash an apocalypse on Earth. However, the plans of Harth Fray to unleash his own apocalypse led the two to send Urkonn to train Melaka Fray, the Slayer, so she would stop Harth, thus allowing Boluz and Vrill to continue with their own plots.
