Vengeance demons wore a jeweled necklace that served as their power center. The only way to reverse a vengeance demon's wish and strip them of their powers was to destroy the pendant.[1]
Each pendant was unique, with a different shape, size, color and jewel. Among the known pendants, there were the Symbol of Anyanka, which was Anya's original pendant, destroyed by Giles;[1] Halfrek's pendant;[2] and Anya's second vengeance demon pendant, after she reclaimed her powers.[3]
