Vanessa was a Slayer who was a member of Faith Lehane's London Squad that continued to operate following the End of Magic. Ultimately she was knocked by a zombie during a surprise ambush by Rupert Giles "resurrected" and his master Eyghon the Sleepwalker, becoming one of his followers.
