Urkonn of the D'Avvrus

Urkonn was a demon sent by the Old Ones Vrill and Boluz to train Melaka Fray as a Slayer after her original "Watcher" chose instead to immolate himself (by this time all that was left of the Watchers was a bunch of unhinged cultists). Serving as her guide and confidant, a budding friendship grew from the what had begun as a rather harsh mentor-student relationship. He ultimately betrayed her in order to harden her resolve, killing her young friend Loo and blaming the murder on vampires. After defeating her brother Harth, she discovered Urkonn's duplicity and lured him into a trap, killing him quickly because he was a friend.
