An unidentified monk member of the Order of Dagon was charged was to protect the Key after performing the Key embodiment ritual.[1]
Biography[]
In 2000, the monastery, based in the Czech Republic, was invaded by Glorificus. The monk was the sole survivor of the attack, and he made his way to Sunnydale to inform Buffy Summers of the mission she had been entrusted with. However, Glory captured, tortured, and interrogated him. Buffy rescued him, and the monk revealed Dawn Summers' true nature to the Slayer, but he soon died due to the fatal wounds he carried from Glory's torture.[1]
