An unidentified Slayer was active in England in the year 1530.
Biography
During her time as Slayer, she partook in a game of tennis and her opponent turned out to be a vampire. She managed to slay him using a tennis racket as a stake, while servants looked on in horror at his demise.[1]
Behind the scenes
- She was one the Slayers that first appeared in the "Chosen One" variant covers in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2019) comic series, exceptionally in a cover of the Every Generation graphic novel.
- Based on her outfit, she was a member of high nobility in British Society. Also during this time period in history, the game of tennis was played by predominantly by kings and other members of nobility.
- This Slayer was active during the Tudor Period of British history under the rule of Henry the VIII, who built of the first tennis courts at Hampton Court Palace in London in the 1530's. The original court no longer exists but it was rebuilt in 1625.
- She is the eighth English Slayer introduced in the Buffyverse after Elizabeth Weston, Justine, Samantha, Angelique Hawthorne, Grace, Elizabeth & Catherine Hogarth.
