Time of Your Life is the fourth volume of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight trade paperbacks, collecting issues sixteen to twenty of the comic book series. It was originally published on May 6, 2009, by Dark Horse Comics.

Synopsis[]

Willow and Buffy head to New York City to unlock the secrets of Buffy's mysterious scythe, when something goes terribly awry. Buffy is propelled into a dystopian future where there's only one SlayerFray, the title character of Joss Whedon's 2001 series, the first comic he ever wrote. Their uneasy alliance falls apart, leading to the death of a major character from the TV series, while back in the twenty-first century, the Scotland base falls prey to a mystical bomb courtesy of the Biggest BadTwilight.[1]

  • Time of Your Life was the second best selling graphic novel of its publishing month, with 8,581 sales in May 2009 at comic specialty stores.[2] It was again among the 300 best selling graphic novels in January[3] and September 2009.[4]
  • The book was among Amazon's 10 best selling graphic novels of 2009.[5]

  • Time of Your Life received a Diamond Gem Award in 2009 as Licensed Trade Paperback/Hardcover of the Year.[6]
