Thicker than Water is the third issue of the Long Night's Journey comic book miniseries. Written by Brett Matthews with Joss Whedon and illustrated by Mel Rubi, it was originally published on February 6, 2002, by Dark Horse Comics.

Synopsis[]

The onslaught continues as the unknown evil that has been menacing Angel and his friends finally reveals itself. Can Angel, Wesley, Cordelia, and Gunn put the pieces together in time or will Angel's past put an end to their future?
This thrilling, new Angel epic is co-written by none other than series creator Joss Whedon and pencilled by Mel Rubi (Witchblade / Aliens / Darkness / Predator: Mindhunter), one of the hottest pencillers in comics.[1]
