Theo Daniels was a human computer programmer living in San Francisco. Proceeding the end of magic, he was hired by Wolfram & Hart to develop TinCan, a Facebook-esque social network for demons trapped on Earth or in other dimensions. However, Wolfram & Hart also had him create a special code within TinCan to allow dimensional portals to open and stay open despite the destruction of the Seed of Wonder.
Realizing the danger, Daniels turned to Deepscan, a Slayer bodyguard company, and hired them to destroy TinCan's servers and protect him from W&H.
