The Wolf, the Ram, and the Heart, Part Five
final issue in series
"The Wolf, the Ram, and the Heart, Part Six" is the final issue of the Angel comic book series.
Now, it all culminates in this final issue. Story threads dating back to After the Fall #1 all tie together in this explosive last hurrah for Angel and his team. Your chance to say goodbye to the original vampire with a soul before he heads off into the twilight...
- Besides some ambigious foreshadowing while Angel is in the White Room of Wolfram & Hart, this comic does not entirely link up to his appreance in Buffy #36 as Twilight. Angels thoughts as he walks off into the L.A night: The only way to prevent a future like the one he saw is to keep the present safe. He mentions he feels a change, a shift and how he lost people he will never stop missing. In his last moments of the comic he makes a vow to make their sacrifices worthwhile, and hopes they are proud of him.
- We see images of Lorne, Wesley, Fred, Cordelia and Doyle above as Angel walks off (very similar to the last panel of After the Fall issue 17) and mentions one last time "Lets get back to Work".
