The Tribunal, also known as Cahair Binse (Chair of Judgement) (Pronounced by Wesley as /kəˈʀ̥ɜːr̥ ˈbiːnsə/) was a supernatural court, settling matters through trials by combat.

They could appear at any moment with little warning. They were able to provide protection to Jo and her child, who was believed to become a great force of good. Whether the tribunal themselves wield magical power and strength to ward off potential harm to the Jo, or whether they rely on weaponry or an army is unknown.
