The Swell was a species of demons who disguised themselves as Vampy Cat stuffed toys. They were part of Twilight's cabal and prone to spouting misogynistic speech. "Fluffy" was one of them.[1]
History[]
The Slayers Satsu and Kennedy found a truckload of these demons under attack from the demon Gunyarr in Tokyo. It was a ruse on Twilight's part to get the Swell into the Slayer Organization Tokyo headquarters and discover the location of their command center in Scotland.[1]
The Slayers used a submarine to destroy the Swell before it could be shipped off. Harmony Kendall later went on TV and cited this as an example of unprovoked Slayer aggression towards anything vampiric.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
The Swell demons had the ability to take possession of human hosts, taking control of their bodies after invading through oral entry. The possession could be undone by forcing the host to vomit the demon; for example, by kicking the host hard in the stomach. However, long-term possession caused the host body to desiccate into a corpse-like state.[1]
The Swell demons also had the ability to merge into a gigantic gestalt form.[1]
