The Lounge Room was a demon bar located in Sunnydale. A group of demons played kitten poker in the backroom.[1]

In 2001, Spike took Buffy for drinks in The Lounge Room. The jukebox was playing "Kidnapper Song" by Masticators. Spike bought a bottle of "the usual" from the bartender Dave and told him they were heading for the backroom.[1]
In the storage room, four demons were ready for a game of kitten poker. Spike explained to Buffy that the demons could give them more information while playing than in a fight. Spike expelled a demon who objected that he joined them for having killed their kind.[1]
Spike won the game, the demons suspected of his luck. However, the vampire pointed out that one demon had x-ray vision, while Clem had a card visibly tucked in his loose skin. The last demon then told Spike to leave his winnings and get out before things could "get ugly." Before leaving, Buffy tipped the basket over, letting the kittens scatter and escape.[1]
