* Jeff Mariotte had the tough task of being the first to tell stories in the Buffyverse post-"[[Not Fade Away]]" which was widely seen by fans in a good light. The conclusion to ''Angel'' had been open-ended, but this comic was limited by being unable to solve lingering questions in fans' minds, which were later answered in ''[[Old Friends]]''.
