The Code of the Samurai is a prose short story of Tales of the Slayer book series. Written by Nancy Holder, it was originally published on November 1, 2003 by Simon Pulse.

India Cohen, Buffy's immediate predecessor in the Slayer line, patrols freely around Tokyo. She fancies her handsome, young Watcher, Christopher "Kit" Botwell. The pair are asked to help a clan dust their vampire ancestor, along with 50 other warriors.
