Tector Gorch was a vampire and the brother of Lyle Gorch.

Prior to becoming vampires, Lyle raised Tector himself after their mother abandon them, and the two were responsible for the massacre of a Mexican village in 1886. At a certain point without explanation, the vampire brothers meet Angelus (recognizing him when they spy the Slayer kissing him in a cemetery and apparently shocked to constant that he was not anymore the famous evil vampire).

Death

During the unearthing of the Mother Bezoar in the Sunnydale High School basement, his curiosity got the best of him and he was consumed by the creature.

Behind the Scenes

  • He was portrayed by James Parks.
  • The 1969 Sam Peckinpah classic The Wild Bunch had two outlaw brothers named Tector and Lyle Gorch (played by Ben Johnson and Warren Oates). Set in 1913, both Gorch brothers are definitely not vampires. Whether these Gorches are related is unknown.
