Tarot Deck and Guidebook is a book and set of tarot cards written by Casey Gilly and illustrated by Karl James Mountford. It was originally published on March 14, 2023, by Insight Editions.

Behind the scenes[]


  • In 2008, the book The Slayer's Tarot was announced as the first licensed Buffy tarot deck, but it was subsequently canceled.
  • A deluxe version titled Mega-Sized Tarot Deck and Guidebook was announced for July 9, 2024, with larger, sturdier cards, a velvet pouch, and a laser-engraved wooden stand for the cards.[2]
  • A scaled down version titled Tiny Tarot Deck and Guidebook was then announced for October 15, 2024, with pocket-size cards and a tin box.[3]
