I find this page to be inaccurate and should most likely just be deleted.

This was nabbed from some poncey written(neologism...pretentious much? lol) snippet most likely from here: http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Scourge-of-Europe

The Scourge of Europe is/was Angelus, not A/D/S/D as a 'team'. Every source I researched produced this result (with the exeption of this one). Although I am unable to find an episode which mentions this term, most sites refer to angelus as The Scourge of Europe.

The Whirlwind, as I viewed it (it was never stated or even hinted that the title represented the name for their lot) was a personal term between Angelus and Darla, as it is stated in the episode Darla (episode) as a representation of the chaos and desturction that the two of them bring about together.

Angelus? The whirlwind, Angelus.
―Darla[src]

And after this statement, they kiss passionately.

Later, Jasmine even shows a little of her empathic ability when she states to Angelus:

So beautifully vain, but the whirlwind doesn't always revolve around you. Destruction sometimes is its own reward.
―Jasmine[src]

Fang Gang Random reference to a group of vampires...

Okay. Um, then why don't you check and see if the Fang Gang is still loitering and, um, keep your back turned while I change?
―Buffy[src]

I simply don't see any proof or even possibility that *any* of these names represent the group that comprised Angelus, Darla, Spike and Dru. Hakatri 15:05, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Hakatri

  • I'd go with "The Whirlwind"... and use the conjecture template since we don't have any name for them... I think Jasmine's quote is more poetic than a reference to Darla and Angelus. --Gonzalo84 00:38, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
  • And that "Fang Gang" quote... more than "vampires", it refers specifically to The Three--Gonzalo84 00:39, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
  • I agree there should be a name to represent their rather long-lasting companionship, I also agree on the Jasmine quote, that phrase made me feel the writers threw it in on purpose but ya, no proof there. And correct on the Fang Gang piece too (The Three).
I'll have to concede with you on "The Whirlwind" as well, true we don't have a name that's specifically cited, and this could be interpreted as such. Thanks Gonza Hakatri 13:47, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Hakatri

Nicely done! Considering this resolved Hakatri 12:58, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Hakatri

I agree that The Whirwind is a inappropiate name to this page, but I can't come up with anything better. I just added that it was a fan made name, and that they're sometimes called The fanged Four by fans as well. It seems like Darla, Angel Jasmine/possessed Cordelia spoke of a state of mind, a emotion, not their "family"(episodes where I've found the whirwind mentions; Twice in Darla, once in Release).

The Whirlwind was the agreed to name (the page was originally titled Scourge of Europe) and the conjecture label at the top of the page indicates that the title is being used for lack of a better one. I reverted your edit for that reason, combined with the fact that the wording took the article out of the in-universe perspective. DinoSlider 03:55, September 16, 2011 (UTC)
