- The first paragraph of the #Methods section says: "There were cases in which Watchers would lead teams to hunt vampires, as Roger Wyndam-Pryce did so in a Vietnamese orphanage against Spike ("Lineage")." The Council also had many operations around the world, such as in Munich, Switzerland, Rome, and Melbourne ("Never Leave Me"). In the article Watcher, you can also read about Watchers educating students of the Watchers Academy (Tales of the Vampires) both in theory and practice (Daddy Issues, Part One), with a greater emphasis on field work since the 70s ("Bad Girls"). Students would be tasked with dealing with vampires (Daddy Issues, Part One), and Watchers were known to write theses on famous vampires ("Checkpoint").
