Name[]
Shouldn't this article be renamed to something like Part-demon? Half-demon implies 50% and in some cases that fits, but at least in in the case of Connor, Cordelia, and Groo this cannot be substantively proven. DinoSlider 14:20, October 16, 2011 (UTC)

- Half-demon is the term used in the series. Even its used with Connor and Cordelia if I'm not mistaken. In the case of the Groosalugg is used for convenience since he's the Pylean version of a dark-skinned baby born to two white parents.--Gonzalo84 16:42, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
- I disagree. The terms part-demon and half-breed are used more frequently than half-demon. Doyle calls himself half-demon because it is accurate for him. Other than that, the only reference to half-demon is when Angel once said Skip made Cordelia a half-demon, despite the fact that both Skip and Cordelia referred to her multiple times as part-demon. - And whenever Darrow, Nash, Pearl or the nightclub guy in the latest A & F is mentioned. And if the term was used for Cordelia... -- Noneofyourbusiness 21:06, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
- I can only speak to the series because I haven't read the comics. In the show, Cordelia and Skip both used the term part-demon on more than one occasion each. As such, Angel's one reference could be considered either a goof or a slip of the tongue. Half-demon is a specific kind of part-demon, like Doyle, so I believe part-demon would be more appropriate because it covers all of the cases. DinoSlider 21:22, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
- But part demon (I don't think they used a hyphen) is more of a description than a noun. -- Noneofyourbusiness 00:37, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

Half-Breed/Half-Demon[]
Yes part-demon is used by most, but Half-breed is used more by pure-bloods and the Old ones to refer to unworthly hybrids like vampires, Brachen, Ano-movic and other humanoid demons.
I think the term should be Half-Breeds (or Half-Demons) because the term does show some proud in what they are a part of two worlds (the humans and the demons) and even with 25% blood relation to demon doesnt mean they are not apart of that world.
