Is Connor a Demon?

In Release, AtS 4.14, about 15 minutes in, Connor attacks Angelus inside the Hyperion Hotel. Remember that Angelus has invaded the hotel trying to find information on the greater power that was controlling the Beast, and that the Hyperion was then under a "no demon violence" spell. When Connor throws a punch at Angelus, the spell restrains him. Angelus comments, "this is interesting."

It is indeed interesting, but this article doesn't saying anything about it. Is Connor a demon, or more demon than human? I don't remember that the question is ever answered, but there might be many things I don't know. This could have something to do with the fact that Connor followed Jasmine even though he, alone among the humans, could see her true face.

Demon power?[]

Maybe Connor isn't a demon but gets his power from a demon-essense like the slayer. I wonder if the anti-demon-violence spell would stop a slayer from attacking...Just a thought.

Connor is the child of two half-demons, so he is half-demon as well. As for the Slayers, I don't think so. It's been iterated time and again that though they have super-powers, Slayers are still fully human.

Vampires aren't half-demon, they're more like possessed humans than anything else. Angel very specifically says Connor is a human in Origin. He's obviously something special, but since it's never really established what, exactly, we're left to lump him into the half-demon template for want of clarification.--OzzMan 12:34, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
