Sven was a Sunnydale High School foreign exchange student from Sweden.[1]
Biography[]
Coming from Sweden for a foreign student exchange program, Sven was paired with Cordelia Chase who, at first, was pleased with his appearance. However, she soon found Sven annoying because of the language barrier and used simple phrases to order him around.[1]
During the World Culture Dance at the Bronze, Sven caught the eye of Cordelia's friend Gwen, who took Sven for punch. In their conversation, he revealed he spoke English quite well and was irritated by Cordelia's inability to speak to him properly.[1]
