The Sunnydale Razorbacks was the sports team of Sunnydale High School since 1947[2] until 2003.[3] The team's colors were maroon and gold, and their mascot was a brown wild boar.[4]
Mascot[]
In 1997, Principal Flutie bought a live mascot, a pig named Herbert, which was eaten by the Pack a short time later.[5] In 1999, someone wore the costume of a brown wild board for the cheerleading squad pep rally.[4]

Behind the scenes[]
- In the Buffy the Vampire Slayer pilot, the school is instead called Berryman High School and their team is the Bulls.
- The Sunnydale Razorbacks is used as a reference to the Buffyverse in the Criminal Minds episode "Hashtag" and in the video game Life Is Strange.
