Stephen Reilly was the Watcher to the Slayer Morgan Palmer[1] in the universe without shrimp.[2]
Biography[]
According to Stephen's diary, he was friends with a vengeance demon while he was at the Watchers Academy. He became the Watcher of the Slayer in Cleveland, but Morgan described him as having put "a hundred knives in [her] back" over the years.[1]
In 2019, the Watchers Council conspired with Stephen to cause the death of his Slayer, due to considering twenty-five an advanced age for a Slayer. They planned of telling Morgan about a vampire nest, leading her instead to a demon that would make her vanish. Morgan heard their plan and sought the help of Anyanka, who gave her a ring that allowed her to resurrect[1] after Stephen witnessed her death.[3]
Stephen stayed in Cleveland, so Morgan went after him and defeated his demon guards. He told her she didn't know what she was doing and the fate of the world was at stake. Morgan told him "No. Just mine." and stabbed Stephan,[1] killing him.[3]
