The stake-loaded wristbands were two spring-loaded mechanisms used by Angel while fighting vampires. He concealed one under each sleeve, and concealed stakes; by flexing his wrists, Angel could unload one stake into each hand, ready for use at any time.
Angel first started using these after he moved to Los Angeles, some time before he started Angel Investigations.
