Spotlight: Wesley is the third issue of the "Spotlight" comic book miniseries. Written by Scott Tipton and illustrated by Mike Norton, it was originally published on June 7, 2006 by IDW Publishing.

Synopsis[]

It's just another day at the office at Wolfram & Hart, which usually means only one thing: every man for himself! When a most lethal legal maneuver strikes down one of the associates, Wesley realizes that the path to Fred's affections might once more be clear — but can he live with the ramifications? And advice from Spike, of all people, probably isn't helping matters…[1]

Summary[]

An extreme legal measure strikes down Knox in the form of a lethal venom, the current object of Winifred Burkle's affections. Forced to make a choice between letting Knox die or to save his life, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce deals with his own affections for Fred and their ramifications. Spike accompanies Wesley, giving him advice based on his own point of view, while appearing and disappearing through walls in his ghost form.

Although Wesley contemplates leaving Knox to die, he nonetheless sets out to cure him of his condition, and is able to do so before Knox dies, thanks to some help from Spike after all. Coupled with the saving of Knox's life comes Knox and Fred's happy reunion, something that Wesley endures from afar, while he continues to give Spike something to think about.
