Sophia Crawford is a stuntwoman who was Sarah Michelle Gellar's stunt double for the first four seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was replaced by Michele Waitman with Melissa Barker for the remaining three seasons.
Career[]
Crawford is featured as a stuntwoman in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and Poseidon. She is also known for her role as Chameleon, one of the fighters on WMAC Masters and performing on the TV series Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers as the Pink Power Ranger's stunt double. She performed Sarah Michelle Gellar's stunts in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as in the film Scream 2.
Since 1998, Sophia is married to Jeff Pruitt, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's stunt coordinator.
Buffyverse credits[]
Crawford was the stunt double for the title character Buffy Summers for the first, second, third, and fourth seasons (1997–2000) of the show. In addition, she performed stunts for Buffy Summers (Wishverse) in "The Wish" and Faith Lehane in "Who Are You?" and portrayed an unnamed vampire in "Becoming, Part One."
Crawford acted as a stunt performer for the video game Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2002).
Crawford also participates in the featurette "Breaking Barriers: It's Not a Chick Fight Thing."
