Selminth Parasites were a species of insect-like demons capable of inducing vivid hallucinations in their victims, regardless of them being human or vampires. Its teeth inject an anesthetic, making the host oblivious to its presence, and pumps neurotoxins into the body causing paralysis, hallucinations, and fever dreams. If this parasite were to continue pumping its toxins into its victim, this would leave said victim in a permanent vegetative state. Eve used two of these on Angel as part of her plot with Lindsey McDonald to bring Angel down.
