Season Eleven is a comic book meta-series from Dark Horse Comics, which began to be published on November 23, 2016. It’s the canonical continuation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel series. Joss Whedon is the executive producer.

The story is a direct continuation of Season Ten, followed by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Twelve" miniseries.

Synopsis

When a tsunami and an enormous dragon devastate San Francisco, folks connected to the supernatural are blamed for causing the catastrophe and soon have restrictions placed on them in the name of safety. Buffy and the Scooby Gang must choose sides, find a way to survive, determine how the disaster happened, and not lose who they are in the process.[1]

Chasing a vision that links his shameful past with impending doom, Angel reluctantly uses the time-traveling power of Fred’s alternate form, the goddess Illyria. Not quite sure what will bring changes to the future with only pieces of Angel’s vision to guide them, they find themselves aboard a cargo ship on the high seas.[2]
