Sandollar Productions is a production company responsible for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel television series. Under the name Sandollar Television, it acted in partnership with 20th Century Studios, Mutant Enemy Productions, Kuzui Enterprises, and (for Angel) David Greenwalt Productions.
History[]
The company was founded by the singer-songwriter Dolly Parton with her former manager Sandy Gallin.
In addition to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Sandollar produced the television series Babes and Dolly Parton's Heartstrings; the documentary Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt; and the feature films Gross Anatomy, Wild Texas Wind, Father of the Bride, Father of the Bride: Part II, Straight Talk, Shining Through, Sabrina, Kicking and Screaming, and Fly Away Home.
