Buffy comes to Los Angeles seeking vengeance against Faith after learning of her whereabouts, and finds Angel letting a conflicted Faith stay at his place in an attempt to redeem her violent nature, much to Buffy's shock and chagrin. Meanwhile, Wesley is faced with a crisis of loyalties when the Watcher's Council assassins arrive and offer him a chance at reinstatement if he gives Faith over to them. Also, the evil Wolfram & Hart lawyers Lindsey, Lilah, and Lee, hire another demon assassin to take down Angel and Faith. Unsuccessful, Lindsey turns to Kate to help them take revenge on Faith and Angel.
