Samantha was a Slayer active in the early 19th century in London, England.
Biography[]
Samantha was a young girl from London who was activated as the Slayer in the year 1812, serving for only 10 short months. She was the ward of the Watcher Hayward Muzzlewit, who was a long respected member of the Watchers Council.
Hayward's son, Charlton, witnessed Hayward physically abusing Samantha for botching a slay. This incident had a lifelong impact on how Charlton viewed the Watcher–Slayer relationship and set the course for how he would eventually treat his own charge, Catherine Hogarth, 30 years later.[1]
