- “St. Just had been a vampire long before my father's birth. And where he went came Hell along to burn the cursed earth.”
- ―unidentified Watcher[src]
Saint Just was a vampire circa 1600 in Europe. He attacked and destroyed many villages with his minions, making him a widely feared vampire.[1]
Biography[]
St. Just targeted a town in which the Slayer and her Watcher lived. The villagers believed the town walls would prevent St. Just and his horde from entering. However, the master vampire climbed the wall, killed the guarding soldiers, and opened the village's gates for his minions.[1]
St. Just and his vampires set the village on fire and murdered many people, but no one dared to face him except for the Slayer. She simultaneously staked and beheaded St. Just, causing his minions to flee.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- Although the date of his death is not explicit, the Slayer was soon burned at the stake accused for being a witch; prosecutions for the crime of witchcraft reached a high point from 1580 to 1630.
