Rupert Giles owned a country house in Westbury, England,[1] located near Bath.[2][3]

History[]

In 2002, Giles took Willow to his estate to guide the witch in her magic rehabilitation. While staying with him there, Willow studied magic and meditation with the Devon coven[1] and met Giles's great-aunts Lavinia and Sophronia Fairweather.[2]

With Giles' death circa 2006, Faith inherited all his possessions, including the farm and his horses.[4] His will determined that "all occupants of the country home may remain"; although Faith understood it meant the horses, it referred to Lavinia and Sophie, who still lived there.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

  • The location was provided by Anthony Stewart Head's Tilley Farm, a property in the Farmborough village in the outskirts of Bath. Purchased in 2001, it's home to the Animal Centred Education and a sanctuary for rescued horses and donkeys. The filming also featured his horse Otto.[5]
