Rory Harris was the brother of Anthony Harris and uncle of Xander.

He was a taxidermist, had a weakness for young women who could be his daughters, collect vintage cars, like drink schnapps or Irish coffee, claims to have invented cuff links in Velcro and making jokes of a doubtful taste to Xander - he persuaded him that he was electrocuted while repairing the coffee machine - and confused the name of Krelvin with Kevin. Like his brother, he was not respectful to the religious beliefs of others, having got noticed at Xander's wedding, where his bigoted attitude toward Anya's demonic guests incited a riot between the two families.

He had also worked at Calax Research and Development.
