Rob Des Hotel was a writer whose work included episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, along with his writing partner at the time, Dean Batali. Des Hotel also served as a story editor and executive story editor during the first two seasons of the show, and wrote the video game Sacrifice in 2009.
He worked as well as writer and producer in various television series over the years, such as That ‘70s Show, Gary Unmarried, Mad Love, True Blood, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, Mike & Molly, and Man with a Plan.
Des Hotel died in December 2018 from a suspected heart attack, survived by his wife Emily DesHotel and their two children.[1]
