Renee was one of the thousands of New Slayers and one of the techs working under Xander's supervision. She had a crush on him. In the recent Wolves at the Gate arc, Renee pursued a romantic relationship with Xander and kissed him in issue #14. Later on in the issue, she was stabbed by a vampire with the Scythe, apparently dying.
