Raven was the lead character on the popular television show On Your Own, which aired for nine and a half seasons. She was portrayed by actress Rebecca Lowell during those years. Since the series was in syndication, Raven would always remain 22 years of age. Because of this, Rebecca lost the role when auditioning for it again as it was felt she was "too mature". This led her to desperate measures when she believed Angel could make her ageless, even at the price of becoming a vampire.
