Quintessa was a cargo ship docked in Los Angeles in 1999, when the Angel Investigations asked Captain Randy to move a group of Lister refugees away from the Scourge.[1]
History[]
In 1999, Angel asked Captain Randy, who owed money to Angel, to give passage in the Quintessa to a group of Lister demons to a sanctuary in Briole, Ecuador. However, the first mate betrayed them and told the Scourge about their plan, and the supremacist group imprisoned the Listers inside the ship with the Beacon. The weapon would kill all inside the Quintessa if not for Doyle's sacrifice by getting into the Beacon to deactivate it.[1]
