Quinntronics was an electronics shop located in Maple Court, Sunnydale,[1] in the corner between Espresso Pump and Noah's Arcade.[2]

History[]

On Christmas eve of 1998, the Quinntronics shop displayed a stereo and TVs on its window, one of the TVs broadcasting the weather report.[3] From 1999 to early 2000, the shop would display mostly stereos and speakers beside various home appliances.[4][5][6][7][1][8]

Unlike Espresso Pump and Hank's Jr. Liquor Mart, the shop stayed closed in the days the Gentlemen had the Sunnydale population's voice stolen.[1]

Quinntronics was one of the many locations vandalized during the Hellions' attack in late 2001. The Buffybot interrupted Razor just as the demon had pulled at least two large electronics from the shop. At the time, the window displayed various electronic calculators.[9] In an attempt to protect the Magic Box, Anya suggested the Hellions instead looted the appliance store because it got "great toasters."[10]

In early 2002, the shop displayed fans, kettles, telephones, stereos, a TV,[2] and a banner for Motorola.[2][11] Later that year, it had TVs, stereos, an Xbox game console, a box for the Windows XP Professional operating system, and boxes for Windows XP Home Edition.[12]

Quinntronics was presumably destroyed along with the rest of the town following the battle at the Hellmouth in 2003.[13]
