Peter Renaday is an actor who provided the voice of the Beast Master on the Angel television series.

Career[]

Renaday has an extensive career as a voice actor that spams five decades and over a hundred credits in films, TV series, and video games. He is best known for voicing Master Splinter in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated TV series.

Renaday began his career in the 1960s acting in the TV series General Hospital and Combat! and the films Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N., The Love Bug, and The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. He first voiced the 1970s Disney animated films The Aristocats and The Rescuers but continued to act in films such as The Barefoot Executive, The Million Dollar Duck, The Strongest Man in the World, The Cat from Outer Space, and The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again.

Renaday provided voices for the 1980s animated TV series Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, Alvin & the Chipmunks, Snorks, G.I. Joe, The Transformers, The Real Ghostbusters, DuckTales, Jem, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, and more. He also voiced the English version of the films Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Ultraman: The Adventure Begins, and My Neighbor Totoro.

In the 1990s, Renaday's credits include the animated TV series TaleSpin, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Darkwing Duck, Bebe's Kids, Batman: The Animated Series, Animaniacs, Aladdin, Gargoyles, Iron Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Quack Pack, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, Superman: The Animated Series, The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, among others.

Renaday also provided voices for 1990s animated films such as Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Cats Don't Dance, The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest, Mulan, The New Batman Adventures, Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost, and the English version of Pom Poko. In live-action films, he appeared in The Odd Couple II and voice acted for Ringmaster.

In the 2000s, Renaday provided voices for the animated TV series Godzilla: The Series, Samurai Jack, Justice League, Evil Con Carne, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy; as well as the animated film The Princess and the Frog and the English version of Howl's Moving Castle. In live-action, he appeared in the TV series Touched by an Angel and provided voices for Angel and The Ten Commandments.

In the 2010s, Renaday's credits include the animated TV series Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Mad, and Archer.

Throughout the years, Renaday provided voices for video games series such as Star Wars, The Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Fallout, Dragon Age, Metal Gear, and Ninja Gaiden.
