Pelletti was a vampire who rose from the grave in mid 2002. Buffy Summers used him to train her sister Dawn. Despite Buffy's ramblings about how powerful a vampire is, Pelletti became stuck in his own grave and required Buffy to lift him out. He then tried to attack before Buffy informed she was the Slayer and that he should go after Dawn. He briefly fought her and almost managed to move in for the kill before Buffy intervened and decapitated him.
