The Order of the Nanjin. Cave dwelling monks. They believe enlightenment is seeing with the heart, not the mind.
Wesley Wyndam-Pryce[src]

The Order of the Nanjin was an order of hermit monks that dwelled in caves based in Pajaur, India. They believed that the way to enlightenment was to forsake physical eyesight and see "with the heart."[1]

History[edit | edit source]

A young, sociopathic woman, Vanessa Brewer, blinded herself and spent 5 years with the order, eventually becoming an assassin who relied on her Nanjin training to eliminate her targets and defend herself against attackers.[1]
