Norris Lawrence was a studio executive in the late 1940's and an acolyte of N. Emigh, who granted Lawrence a minor charm to allow him to attract the women he desired. He hired Spike to protect him from the families of the poor girls he seduced.
Eventually, Lawrence began to delve in human sacrifices, including the famous Black Dahlia murder, which Emigh, actually a Kandarian Predator demon, framed Spike for. Lawrence died in a car accident in 1959, a year after the studio went bankrupt.
