Mr. Giles was Edna Giles' son and Rupert Giles' father, and was a member of the Watchers Council.

History

Giles mentioned that his father had set out his destiny as a Watcher when he was ten years old and had given him a lecture on how important being a watcher was and how little he could do to change it.

Powers and abilities

It could be assumed he had strong magical powers due to his lineage and profession as a Watcher.
